About Me
Hi, I’m Shelby. I’m a ghostwriter, marketing and brand strategy consultant with years of experience in marketing, content, and editorial strategy.
In 2019 I felt pretty burnt out from the mountain of meetings, emails, and routine of my corporate career...so I quit. I decided to start consulting so that I could work on the part of marketing that I was most passionate about: brand strategy development. I love helping clients to determine how their brands should look, feel, and sound to appeal to their audiences and fully communicate their value proposition.
My background in writing and brand strategy created the perfect skillset to ghostwrite memoirs, management, and thought leadership books for my clients. I'm dedicated to providing structure and resonance for my clients' stories, all while preserving their unique voice and personality.
Prior to consulting, I worked in almost every area of digital marketing from social media to content strategy, editorial to video series, branded campaigns to brand launches, leading teams and working independently. I received my MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2019, was Director of Social Media Marketing at Guthy|Renker, and Senior Manager of Content Strategy at The Walt Disney Company where I spent nine years of my career.
